End of Life Book Study
Death, funerals, burials, and wills are things you never want to think about. Someday you have to plan for them, either for yourself or for someone you love. With good preparation, in your time of dying, you will be more likely to maintain your dignity and privacy, have a sense of control over events, die in a way that reflects the way you lived, create loving memories for your family, reduce your costs, and die at home. If we fail to make these decisions while we are able-minded and clear-thinking, they will be forced upon our loved ones to decide. Preparing for our own departure from this life to the next is one of the greatest acts of service we can do for those we leave behind. In the mad scramble to take care of details, wrong decisions are often made, money is wasted, feelings are hurt, and stress is compounded. A plan enables surviving family members and friends to spend their time and energy on things that truly matter. Come to Big Spring Mennonite Church for a six-session series that will be informative, comprehensive, and give you the resources you need. Plan your death and funeral right and spare your loved ones grief, stress, and financial loss. This series will show you how.
